The Context
- Product: ePowerControl HFS
HPW Fresh & Dry Ltd, based near Adeiso, Ghana, produces high-quality dried fruit for export, processing over 25,000 tons of fresh fruit each year and employing around 1,500 people.
To upgrade its factory layout and expand genset and PV capacity, the company selected Elum Energy for a scalable energy management solution.
Elum Energy’s ePowerControl HFS was deployed to optimize coordination between solar production, the grid, and diesel generators. The system prevents low-load genset operation, manages solar curtailment when needed, and ensures zero grid feed-in.
The new setup aligns with HPW’s strong sustainability focus and complements its existing biogas and biomass heat systems.
