The Context

The Hinojosa del Duque photovoltaic power plant, located in the province of Córdoba in Andalusia, has an installed capacity of 4.45 MWp and will generate around 9.40 GWh of renewable electricity each year.

The Elum Energy EMS implements all functionalities required by the connection agreement and the applicable NTS 2.1 regulations. The ePowerControl PPC collects measurements from the grid meter, monitors the point of connection continuously, and ensures that grid objectives such as active and reactive power limits, ramp rates, and
power factor requirements are met. The controller sends real-time setpoints to the PV inverters, guaranteeing maximum production while staying within grid constraints. ePowerSCADA functions as the local supervision platform, gathering operational data from the PPC and enabling on-site monitoring and control, ensuring full visibility. Remote, cloud based access to plant performance is provided through ePowerMonitor, which offers long-term monitoring and portfolio-wide visibility.

In addition to the defined scope of supply, ELUM provided a complete package of on-site and remote Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT). Commissioning was followed by a Site Acceptance Test (SAT) procedure that ensured proper operation and compliance before the plant entered service.
