The Context

  • Product: ePowerControl ZE + ePowerMonitor

In Panguipulli, Chile, a 2.91 MWp photovoltaic plant featuring 5,292 high-efficiency solar modules will provide a substantial source of clean, efficient power to the Los Ríos region.

ePowerControl ZE plays a key role in grid feed-in management and reactive power regulation. The controller intelligently curtails solar power output as needed along with the flexibility to set grid feed-in targets, choosing from three preconfigured options: zero export, maximum export, and minimum import to be compliant with Chile net billing and PPA regulation.

Additionally, ePowerControl ZE provides reactive power regulation by adjusting the solar inverters’ output to maintain the power factor at the Point of Common Coupling within grid operator limits. Both help to prevent grid penalties and contributes to overall grid stability.
ePowerMonitor provides reliable monitoring and advanced analytics, ensuring optimal performance and quick detection of any anomalies. With seamless integration across multiple devices and customizable dashboards, it empowers operators to maximize energy production while maintaining efficient site management.
