The Context

  • Product: ePowerControl PPC + SCADA

Developed, financed, built, and operated by CVE, the Mallemort solar farm is located on a former landfill. The 2.6 MWp solar park will generate 4,150 MWh of electricity annually—equivalent to the consumption of approximately 3,600 residents per year (excluding heating and hot water).

Its shared governance makes this project exemplary. Ultimately, 35% of the capital will be held by public and citizens stakeholders, including the municipality of Mallemort and local citizens throughout a crowdfunding campaign. The citizen-led solar park represents a new generation of energy projects: locally rooted, governed collaboratively, and dedicated to advancing the energy transition and regional energy sovereignty.

ePowerControl PPC was selected to ensure reliable data logging, manage both active and reactive power, and deliver efficient peak shaving for intelligent energy management and power flow stability—all while ensuring compliance with local grid requirements.

Elum’s ePowerSCADA providing precise control over solar power injection and delivering real-time monitoring of the plant’s status to maximize efficiency and ensure secure operations.
