Utility Scale with Multiple Points of Injection in Senegal

Application
Injection control on the Enedis HTA network
The context
- Product: ePowerControl PPC
This utility-scale project integrates over 35,000 PV solar panels across 14 hectares, capable of producing 15 MW of clean electricity. Equipped with the ePowerControl PPC, it ensures grid stability and effective feed-in management by addressing limitation control requirements.
The PPC utilizes PV Ramp Rate Control to manage power output changes, smoothing fluctuations caused by factors like cloud cover, ensuring gradual and stable adjustments to minimize grid disruptions and maintain stability. Additionally, Active Power Export Control regulates exported power based on demand and operating conditions, maximizing renewable energy utilization within grid limits while ensuring stability and reliability.
During Grid Connected mode, the PV plant operates in PQ mode, receiving active power commands from the ePowerControl PPC for optimal performance and grid compatibility.
