The Context

The site is grid-tied and composed of 300 kWp PV Solar with 1 x 380 kVA diesel genset backup.
In order to avoid losing solar production during grid outages, ePowerControl SD has been added to the system. It ensures optimal PV production while making sure that:
the system is compliant with the Indian grid requirements
the genset works at the minimum genset loading.
