The Context
- Product: ePowerControl SD
A washing plant in Sri Lanka was facing lots of unplanned power cuts and wanted to decrease fuel costs. They were also losing money as they were unable to provide energy to the national grid.
Regen Renewables put forward an innovative solution to convert their solar system into PV – DG hybrid installation.
ePowerControl SD+ has been added for optimal PV production while making sure that:
the system is compliant with the grid requirements
the genset works at the minimum genset loading
The system which was only commissioned in June 2022 has achieved:
60% savings in fuel consumption
Reduced hassle of spending time to find diesel to run the DG.
