The Context

In Zimbabwe, a hybrid power plant, combining solar and diesel energy production, has been installed on a family-run farming business.
ePowerControl SD has been added to the system for the smooth integration of PV plant and diesel genset with the main objectives:
- Maximize PV penetration
- Ensure that the diesel generators do not work at less than 30% of its nominal capacity during their running time, allowing the PV to deliver the rest
- Limite injected solar power as to stay within the transformer capacity (300KVA)
- Layout:
