The context
- Product: ePowerControl SD
Elum Energy provided ePowerControl SD for a rainforest resort in Igatpuri, India.
This is a grid-tied project of 140 kW PV Solar with 1 x 125 kVA diesel genset backup. The primary energy source is the grid.
When the grid is on, the client requested that the solar system work is compliant with the local grid requirements. When the grid is off, ePowerControl SD will reduce the inverter output and allow minimum genset loading to maximise solar penetration without harming the genset.
