Charge the storage system with PV production and/or off-peak prices and discharge during peak prices to maximize the value of your onsite production and reduce your utility costs.
Peak Shaving / Time Of Use management
Avoid penalties by reducing load when demand is above the maximum power purchase value.
Export and Import control for a single or multiple Points of Injection
Management of solar inverters, BESS, genset controllers and breakers to limit export to the grid and import (peak shaving) from the grid in grid-tied configuration.
Reactive power management
Reactive power is controlled dynamically to regulate PF at PCC or genset level within a configured range. Includes the possibility to prioritize active or reactive power objectives.

What are the applications for which the ES series are suited ?
ePowerControl ES is another alternative for PV/GRID/BESS & PV/GRID/BESS/DG installations (limited to 300kWp). It offers high quality controllers dedicated to simple standard solar plants integrated with a BESS. Please refer to the ES product page for more details.
Can ES ensure the seamless transition between grid and battery during a shutdown?
Our standard controllers do not manage seamless transition directly, but can be used in coordination with various systems controlling it such as UPS and ATS.
Does the solution support BESS dispatch between batteries of different brands?
In case of multiple batteries of different brands, ePowerControl ES dispatchs the total BESS active power setpoints to the different BESS configured in eConf, our solar controller configuration interface. The produced dispatch ensures that no BESS exceeds the SoC configured range or the active power target range.
Is secondary Islanding Mode (N+2 Reliability) supported?
In case of multiple batteries of different brands, ePowerControl ES dispatchs the total BESS active power setpoints to the different BESS configured in the ePowerControl configuration interface. The produced dispatch ensures that no BESS exceeds the SoC configured range or the active power target range.
